Vinyl Application Instructions
- Clean the vacant surface where the vinyl decal will be applied with Windex or a soft cloth damped with denatured alcohol to make sure that it is free from any wax, oil, dirt, dust or debris that will prevent the vinyl from sticking
- Give the application tape on the front of the vinyl decal a quick, but firm rub with a squeegee, spatula, popsicle stick or credit card.
- Tape the top portion of the decal to the making sure it is positioned exactly the way you want it to look.
- Flip and peel back the application tape slowly; making sure that the decal is sticking to the application tape. If part of a letter does not stick to the application tape, simply rub that area a little more firmly and check again.
- Be careful to not allow the vinyl decal to touch the surface until you are absolutely sure of its positioning.
- Once you’re confident of the positioning of vinyl decal on your surface, carefully rub your hand over the decal to apply. Continue rubbing the decal more firmly with the squeegee, spatula, popsicle stick or credit card used before. This allows each part of the decal to adhere to the surface you are applying it to.
- Carefully remove the application tape from the vinyl decal, paying attention to any part of the decal that may not transfer to the surface. If this happens, simply rub that area a little more firmly and try again.
